Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch until well coated.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Add garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the tofu to the pan and add hoisin sauce and sriracha (if using). Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
