Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: lemon slices or strawberry halves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the fresh strawberries and 1/4 cup of the sugar. Blend until smooth to create a strawberry puree.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Add the strawberry puree to the pitcher with the lemon mixture. Stir well to combine.
  4. Pour in the cold water and mix thoroughly. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water if needed.
  5. Add the ice cubes to the pitcher or pour the lemonade over ice in individual glasses. Garnish with lemon slices or strawberry halves if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing strawberry lemonade!
