Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh dill or parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • Optional: lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C). Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil and drizzle with lemon juice.
  3. Season the fillets evenly with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down if applicable. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  5. Carefully remove the salmon from the grill using a spatula. Let it rest for 2-3 minutes to retain juiciness.
  6. Transfer to serving plates. Garnish with chopped dill or parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side if desired. Enjoy your grilled salmon!
